A coplexes of octa (4-acetamidophenyl) octaazaphthlocyaninato Zinc and Copper (11) were prepared and identified. The study shows some of their spectroscopic and electrical properties. It shows too, the effect of solvents on the electronic spectra. The dc electrical conductivity measurements show their semiconducting properties. Several dozen distinct alluvial fans, 10 to greater than 40 km long downslope are observed exclusively in highlands craters. Within a search region between 0 deg. and 30 deg. S, alluvial fan-containing craters were only found between 18 and 29 S, and they all occur at around plus or minus 1 km of the MOLA-defined Martian datum. Within the study area they are not randomly distributed but instead form three distinct clusters. Fans typically descend greater than 1 km from where they disgorge from... A finite-difference time domain solution of the airfoil gust problem is obtained using a high-accuracy nonlinear computational aeroacoustics code. For computational efficiency, the equations are cast in chain-rule curvilinear form, and a structured multiblock solver is used in parallel. In order to fully investigate the performance of this solver, a test matrix of eight problems are computed (two airfoil geometries, two gust frequencies, and two gust configurations). These results are compared... Topics: COORDINATION, DECISION MAKING, PROTOCOL (COMPUTERS), FAILURE, COSTS

A definitive measurement of the low-speed flight characteristics of waverider-based aircraft is required to augment the overall design database for this important class of vehicles which have great potential for efficient high-speed flight. Two separate waverider-derived vehicles were tested; one in the 14- by 22-Foot Tunnel and the other in the 12-Foot Low Speed Tunnel at Langley Research Center. These tests provided measurements of moments and forces about all three axes, control... Topics: CONFERENCES, MULTIGRID METHODS, COORDINATION, PRINTING, ARCHAEOLOGY

Presentation given by Dr. Scott Kelso at the Brain Coordination Dynamics conference, March 2010. This presentation was included in the first session. The aim of the session was to bridge theory and experiment on several levels of analysis in an effort to elaborate principles and identify mechanisms of brain coordination. Naturally, because of nonlinear and transient phenomena, primacy was placed on dynamics. Topics: Coordination Dynamics, Chimera, Complementarity, Coordination, Dr. Scott Kelso, Florida Atlantic...
PotLuck is a multimedia application that will cater to the need for party planner and attendee coordination. The application will be free to download and will be available on both Apples App store as well as the Androids Google Play and have PC web access as well. The Primary functionality of the application will be to connect friends, family or associates on one platform to coordinate an event without the bombardment of the social media circus. Topics: party planning app, nevent planning app, event coordination app, party coordination app, party app,...
This teacher training module classifies visual channel problems into the following four main areas: visual perception, revisualization (memory), visual-motor (eye-hand coordination), and ocular-motor tasks. Specific deficits are listed under these main headings, behaviors are given to help identify the problem, and ways to improve the condition are suggested. In electro-neurophysiology, single-trial brain responses to a sensory stimulus or a motor act are commonly assumed to result from the linear superposition of a stereotypic event-related signal (e.g. the event-related potential or ERP) that is invariant across trials and some ongoing brain activity often referred to as noise. To extract the signal, one performs an ensemble average of the brain responses over many identical trials to attenuate the noise. To date, h s simple signal-plus-noise... This paper includes a modified real and reactive power coordination compensation controller for a unified powerflow controller (UPFC). The primary control for the UPFC is that the series control of converter of the UPFC controls thetransmission line powers like real/reactive power flow and the shunt control of converter of the UPFC controls the UPFCbus voltage or shunt reactive power and the DC linked capacitor voltage. In steady state analysis, the real power requiredfor the loads of the... Topics: FACTS, Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC), Coordination Controller, ANN Controller
The manual is intended to provide guidelines to Washington local education agencies (LEAs) and Head Start programs on interagency agreements. Factors involved in agreements are discussed, and an example of a proposal for service coordination touches on aspects of recruitment and outreach, screening, team staffing, assessment/diagnosis, individualized educational program planning, delivery of services, and tracking. A discussion of elements of agreements (such as program delineation and roles... Topics: ERIC Archive, Agency Cooperation, Cooperative Planning, Coordination, Disabilities, School Districts
This report contains the proceedings of a 2-day interprovincial conference attended by 38 teachers, registrars, university professors, and trustees to discuss means of reducing the complexity of teacher certification regulations and of enabling teachers to move more freely among the various provinces. Included are four presentations on the functional approach to teacher certification including discussion of quantity and quality of teachers, salary classification, and teaching assignments; four... A procedure is outlined for understanding and evaluating interagency collaboration. Five steps are addressed: (1) understanding the context of an interagency collaboration (stages of development, communication channels used); (2) verifying the need for interagency collaboration (needs for increased client access to services and reduced duplication of services); (3) identifying solutions and plans to meet needs (components of agreements); (4) implementing the collaborative process (monitoring... Six skilled typists were studied while they transcribed English text. The typists showed stable patterns of performance, but with significant individual differences among themselves. Inter-keypress latencies for two-finger digraphs (typed by two fingers on the same hand) were particularly variable among typists. Two typists showed large differences in two-finger digraph latencies, but similar overall typing speeds. Finger movement trajectories, determined from analysis of videotapes of these... A recent analysis found a negative correlation between the area-mean cloud amount and the corresponding mean Sea Surface Temperature (SST) within the cloudy areas. The SST-cloud relation becomes more evident when the SST contrast between warm pool and surrounding cold pool (DSST) in the tropical Pacific is stronger than normal. The above feature is related to the finding that the strength of subsidence over the cold pool is limited by radiative cooling because of its small variability. As a... A one-formula surrogate fuel formulation and its quasi-global combustion kinetics model are developed to support the design of injectors and thrust chambers of kerosene-fueled rocket engines. This surrogate fuel model depicts a fuel blend that properly represents the general physical and chemical properties of kerosene. The accompanying gaseous-phase thermodynamics of the surrogate fuel is anchored with the heat of formation of kerosene and verified by comparing a series of one-dimensional... This document reports on statistics regarding the need for day care facilities for children under the age of six. It also gives suggestions for making better use of local day care resources. Statistics show that: (1) There are more than 5 million children in this country under the age of 6 whose mothers work; (2) There are licensed day care facilities for only 600,000 of these children; and (3) Approximately 1 million school-age children must care for themselves while their parents work.
